i3 Testimonial: Stealth Acoustics
Stealth Acoustics partners with D-Tools' i3 Partner Program to leverage its extensive software platform, which exposes their invisible speakers, subwoofers, and other products to over 8,000 integration companies, provides valuable sales insights through a proprietary dashboard, and helps dealers plan projects and improve sales, contributing to a marketplace where D-Tools users generated an estimated $40 billion in quotes and $7 billion in booked business in 2023.
There is no argument that audio is one of the most competitive categories in the professional integration industry. Indeed, there are more than 100 companies vying for market share among custom installation companies in just the architectural speaker category alone. That intense competition is one of the reasons Stealth Acoustics participates in the D-Tools i3 Partner Program.
By partnering with D-Tools, Stealth Acoustics gets its lines of invisible speakers and subwoofers, Stingray outdoor speakers, commercial architectural speakers and amplifiers in front of more than 8,000 integration companies using D-Tools software. Moreover, Mount Vernon, Wash.-based Stealth Acoustics participates in the D-Tools Industry Insights & Information (i3) Partner Program, which gives suppliers access to a proprietary dashboard with insights into the sales activity among their dealers in D-Tools Cloud. Stealth can also view download activity among its authorized integrators using the D-Tools System Integrator (SI) on-premises solution.
“Stealth Acoustics works with D-Tools for a number of reasons,” says Brian Azzano, vice president. “Most importantly, it provides a comprehensive portal for dealers to be able to properly plan and budget for projects. In addition to that, D-Tools is able to provide us as a vendor an extreme amount of information that we can use to improve the way we do business and help other dealers learn how to sell better.”
The D-Tools Integrated Product Library contains more than 1.6 million products with integrator-level pricing from more than 220 suppliers representing more than 1,000 brands. In 2023, integrators using D-Tools Cloud alone created more than $4 billion in proposals for customers and booked over $777 million via the software. D-Tools Cloud data roughly represents about 10% of what is produced via D-Tools SI, meaning the integrators created an estimated $40 billion in quotes and booked $7 billion in business via the software.
As Azzano referenced, the i3 Partner Program also enables suppliers such as Stealth Acoustics to approve their authorized dealers, view their market share in their particular product categories, and track in aggregate the status of proposals, signed contracts and orders placed by their dealers in terms of both number of units and dollar value. The information gleaned from the i3 dashboard helps suppliers manage their inventory levels more effectively because they can see the proposal and sold/booked business activity long before they receive the actual Purchase Orders.
